DISCUSSION: <br />PW recommends an informal committee of road standards reviewers comprised on the <br />following stakeholders: <br />• Land Developer <br />• Land Use Planning Consultant <br />• Local Engineering firm <br />• Local Attorney and Land Use Developer <br />• Local Realtor <br />• County Engineer <br />• Public Works Director <br />The group will begin resolving urban standards assisted by the City Engineer of <br />Ellensburg. The informal committee will advise PW without the need to formulate as a <br />committee of the Board. The standards were completely revised in 2018 using consulting <br />services from KPG (PW Civil Consulting roster). At a recent meeting between City of <br />Ellensburg and County staff, it was decided to include the City Engineer for urban <br />standards review. This will facilitate finalization of urban standards acceptable to the city <br />for inclusion into pending Interlocal Agreement adoption for Ellensburg urban growth <br />area land use management. <br />FISCAL IMPACTS: <br />None anticipated other than budgeted staffing time in the adopted 2023 PW <br />administration budget. <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />EXHIBIT 1: TIMELINE <br />Page 2 of 3 <br />Public Works "Work Session Staff Report", 2022 <br />
