BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSII <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2022 - <br />AUTHORIZING THE CHAIR'S SIGNATURE ON THE LOCAL AGENCY FEDERAL <br />AID PROJECT PROSPECTUS ENGINEERING PHASE FOR THE COOKE CANYON <br />ROAD BRIDGE #80181 OVER THE HILINE CANAL REPLACEMENT PROJECT CRP <br />315-22 <br />WHEREAS: The Cooke Canyon Road Bridge No. 80181 Replacement Project was awarded <br />Federal Funding through the 2022 Local Bridge Program; and <br />WHEREAS: The federal funding will be used for the preliminary engineering phase to design, <br />develop and prepare construction plans and specifications for these <br />improvements; and <br />WHEREAS: In preparation to begin work, Kittitas County Public Works is requesting the <br />Washington State Department of Transportation release the federal funds for <br />preliminary engineering; and <br />WHEREAS: A Local Agency Federal Aid Project Prospectus must be executed by the Chair <br />of the Board of County Commissioners acknowledging the project has been <br />reviewed and is consistent with the County's comprehensive plan for community <br />development; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best <br />interest of the public, does hereby approve the Chair's signature on the Local <br />Agency Federal Aid Project Prospectus for the Cooke Canyon Road Bridge <br />#80181 Over the Hiline Canal Replacement Project CRP 315-22. <br />DATED on this 6th day of September 2022, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Laura Osiadacz, Chairman <br />Cory Wright, Vice -Chairman <br />Brett Wachsmith, Commissioner <br />
