KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />2022 AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: September 6, 2022 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Authorize the Advertisement of a Statement of <br />Qualifications for Engineering and Planning Services at <br />Bowers Field 2023 - 2027 <br />BACKGROUND: The current on-call task order contract with Century West <br />Engineering supporting Bowers Field is terminating in mid- <br />October 2022. The Federal Aviation Administration allows <br />on-call task order contracts for a five-year period. With the <br />completion of the environmental assessment supporting the <br />capital construction program. The airport now enters a <br />construction period expected to last five years. A general <br />solicitation for service is expected to attract several service <br />providers. Staff desires having a consultant on -board by <br />early January 2023. <br />This request supersedes Resolution 2022-163 and is being <br />resubmitted due to Scrivener's error found within the <br />Statement of Qualifications. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Authorize the advertisement of a Statement of <br />Qualifications for Engineering and Planning Services for a <br />five-year period (2023 - 2027) supporting Bowers Field. <br />HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works. <br />ATTACHMENTS: Notice of Advertisement; Statement of Qualifications <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark R.
