TASK 4: IDENTIFY DATA GAPS AND COLLECTION METHODOLOGIES <br />Staff will report existing data sets to the planning group and solicit for known and desired data <br />sets for collection. Anticipated additional data sets include projected resort and business growth <br />plans, transportation element data, future travel demand forecasts and parking needs and likely <br />policy development meeting growth projections. <br />DELIVERABLE: Identified data gaps and the methodologies filling the gaps. <br />COST: $25,000. <br />TASK 5: DATA GAP COLLECTION <br />Staff will evaluate the totality of gap need and develop solicitation strategies for gap data <br />collection. It is assumed that various professional services will be required including planning <br />and engineering support services. It is likely that travel demand forecasting will be necessary <br />using state, local and private traffic forecasts for a twenty-year planning horizon. <br />DELIVERABLE: Multiple professional service contracts producing the identified data from <br />TASK 4. <br />COST: $276,640. <br />TASK 6: IDENTIFY DEFICIENCIES FOR ALL TRANSPORTATION ELEMENTS <br />The planning group will evaluate gap data collected and identify remedial actions mitigating <br />deficiencies for all transportation elements. Deficiencies are identified by utilization of 20 -year <br />planning horizon levels of service expectations. <br />DELIVERABLE: Listing of all transportation element deficiencies. <br />COST: $157,560. <br />TASK 7: FORMULATE ELEMENT RANKING CRITERIA AND APPLY TO ALL <br />DEFICIENCIES <br />The planning group will formulate transportation element review and ranking criterion. The <br />criterion will be applied to all deficiencies and the elements will be ranked in order of priority. <br />DELIVERABLE: Prioritized listing of projects addressing identified 20 -year planning horizon <br />service level deficiencies. <br />COST: $7,300. <br />Page 2 of 3 <br />
