Alder St. <br />Union Gap, WA 98903 <br />DOCUMENT TITLE: Quit Claim Deed — Water Right <br />GRANTOR: Kittitas County, a political subdivision of the State of <br />Washington <br />GRANTEE: Washington State Department of Ecology, State Trust <br />Water Rights Program <br />LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Instream Flow and Mitigation in the Yakima and Columbia <br />Rivers <br />QUIT CLAIM DEED — WATER RIGHT <br />GRANTOR, KITTITAS COUNTY ("Grantor"), for valuable consideration, hereby <br />conveys and quit claims to the WASHINGTON STATE DEPARTMENT OF ECOLOGY, <br />STATE TRUST WATER RIGHTS PROGRAM ("Grantee") all of Grantor's right, title and <br />interest in and to the water right under Certificate No. S4 -84227-J, described as follows: <br />1.39 cubic feet per second, from April 1 through October 15, 307.88 acre- <br />feet per year, instream in a primary reach beginning at a point approximately <br />400 feet south and 1,000 feet west from the center of Section 24, being <br />within the NW'/4NE'/4SW'/4 of Section 24, T. 17 N., R. 18 E.W.M. and <br />continuing down Spring Creek down to the confluence of the Yakima River <br />and Spring Creek at River Mile 148.5, and 0.29 cubic feet per second, 64.09 <br />acre-feet per year, instream in a secondary reach beginning at River Mile <br />148.5 on the Yakima River at a point approximately 3,000 feet south and <br />300 feet west of the northeast corner of Section 25, T. 17 N., R. 18 E.W.M. <br />and continuing downstream of the Yakima River to the confluence with the <br />Columbia River.
