We will be adopting the impact
fees inside the City of Ellensburg urban growth areas as a part
of the interlocal agreement. Impact fees are a one time charge
assessed by local governments to pay for services that are
created by development and increased demand for services for
development. These fees are collected usually at the time of the
building permit. The fees need to be tracked and if they aren't
used within 10 years they then have to be returned to the
applicant. The Board directed CDS staff to move forward with
putting this item on the docket. Chair Osiadacz stated that we
need to pursue an interlocal agreement with the City of Cle
Elum, City of Roslyn, and the City of Kittitas as well.
OTHER BUSINESS
There is no other business.
Meeting concluded at 1:58 p.m.
siica Miller
2022-6-13 MINUTES 2
KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
Laura Osiadacz, Chairman
