16.24.030 Survey - Permanent control monuments establishment. <br />l. Permanent control monuments shall be established at: <br />l. In the <br />event a final plat is approved before roads are graded, the surety deposited to secure grading <br />shall be sufficient to pay the costs estimated by the county public works director ofsetting such <br />monuments. (Ord. 2005-3 l, 2005) <br />Permanent Control monuments shall be set at all road intersections, horizontal points ofcurvature, <br />horizontal points of tanoency. centers of cul-de-sacs, and as needed for intervisibility and any other <br />aporopriate locations deemed necessary by the countlr. Points of Tangencv and curvature may be <br />substituted by monumenting the point of intersection if the intersection falls within the road. <br />16.24.050 Lot comer marking. <br />I1v€rt' l6t €omer s <br />eq*i Anv monument set by a land survevor to <br />mark or reference a point on a oroperty or land line shall be oermanent, magnetic, and marked or tagged <br />with the certificate number of the land surveyor setting it. Monuments set by a land surveyor shall be <br />sufficient in number and durability and shall be efficientlli placed so as not to be readily disturbed in order <br />to assure, together with monuments already existing, the oerpetuation or reestablishment of any point or <br />line of a survey. <br />16.24.060 Survey - Property contiguous to natural bodies of water. <br />l. Ifany land in a subdivision is contiguous to anatural body ofwater, ameander line shall <br />be established along the shore at a safe distance back from the ordinary high-water mark. <br />Property lying beyond the meander line shall be defined by distances along the side <br />property lines extended from the meander line. <br />2. lf the thread of a stream lies within a subdivision or forms the boundary of a subdivision, <br />such thread shall be defined by bearings and distances as it exists at the time ofthe <br />survey.
