The Hearing Examiner shall determine whether the proposal includes appropriate provisions for drainage, roads, alleys, and other public ways, water supplies, sanitary wastes, parks, playgrounds, fire and life safety protection facilities, school sites and grounds and other public and private facilities and improvements as required by the Kittitas County Code. The commission Hearings Examiner shall determine if the proposed subdivision conforms to the general purposes of the comprehensive plan; and if the public use and interest will apparently be served by the proposal. (Ord. 2005-31, 2005) V HEARING EXAMINER'S ACTION 16.12.180 Findings and report. Not later than ten days following conclusion of the open record hearing, the Hearing Examiner shall provide a written report including a decision. The Hearing Examiner may decide that the proposed plat be approved, conditionally approved or disapproved. Conditions of approval shall be precisely recited in the Hearing Examiner's report and shall include recommended protective improvements, if any. Records of the planning commission Hearings Examiner hearings on preliminary plats shall be kept by the clerk of the boardCDS and shall be open to public inspection. (Ord. 2005-31, 2005) VI BOARD ACTION 16.12.200 Date and records. Upon receipt of the planning commission's recommendation, the board shall, at its next regularly scheduled public meeting, set the date for the public closed record hearing at which the board shall consider the recommendation. (Ord. 2005-31, 2005) 16.12.210 Acceptance or rejection. At the closed record hearing scheduled for considering the preliminary plat, the board shall, after reviewing the recommendations of the planning commission, the director, the county engineer, the health officer, including any other relevant evidence presented to it, either concur in or reject the planning commission's recommendations.
