IntergovernmentalAgreementsubmittedatleastannuallywiththeA-299butmaybeupdatedthroughouttheyear.Thisform,andinstructionsonhowtofillitout,islocatedathttp://mle.parks.wa.gov/.AgencieswhichhavenotcompletedallcurrencytrainingtasksrequiredmaysubmitastatementofexplanationandattachittotheA-299form.StateParksrecognizesthatmanydifferentcircumstancescouldpreventtrainingfrombeingcompleted(wildfires,maintenanceissues,staffingshortfalls,etc.).Eachcircumstancewillbeevaluatedonitsownmerits.AgenciesarerequiredtolistanyadditionaltrainingcoursestheirpersonnelhavecompletedontheA-299webform.ThishelpsStateParksinmaintaininganup-to-datedatabaseofmarinelawenforcementcapabilitiesacrossthestateandhelpsidentifytrainingsubjectsandcoursesthatareneeded,butnotofferedwithinthestate.VesselsandEquipmentAgenciesmustsupplythenecessaryboatingsafetypatrolequipment,includingvesselscapableofservingtheminimumrequirementsoutlinedinthisguidance.Patrolvesselsmustbeproperlymarkedandproperlyequippedasprovidedinchapter88.02RCWandchapter352-60WAC.AgenciesarealsorequiredtoprovideStateParkswithaninventoryofallvesselsalongwithdetailsforhowtheyareequippedeachyearbyfillingouttheA-299form.Informationrequiredonthatformincludes:•Vessels:StateParksrequiresthefollowingdataoneachvessel:oVesselnameoManufactureroRadioequipped(Y/N):Radioequippedmeansthevesselhasanagencyradioinstalledor"hardwired".Non-radioequippedboatsarevesselsthatdonothaveradiosinstalled.Portableradiosmaybecarriedontheseboats,buttheywouldbeconsiderednon-radioequipped.Examplesincludepersonalwatercraft,driftboats,Jonboats,kayaks,andinflatablerafts(motorizedornon-motorized).oSECTORequipped(Y/N):SECTORequippedboatsarethepatrolvesselsinyouragencythatareSECTORequippedwithacomputerortabletplusprinterandscanner(installedor"hardwired"toincludeportablecasedunits).Non-SECTORequippedboatsarevesselsthatdonothaveacomputer,tablet,printerinstalledorifthesearenotcarriedaboardasacasedkit.oModeloLengthoPropulsiontypeoHorsepoweroYearoFundsusedtopurchasethevessel(local,state,orfederal)oPercentoftimeemployedfortheRBSmission.Page56of64
