McElroy Road bridge, Cle Elum: This temporary bridge permit requires additional <br />engineering analysis, identification of all insurable structures affected by any increase in <br />the Base Flood Elevation during a I% chance flood event, and written notification to the <br />applicant that they may be liable for any damages resulting from the temporary structure. <br />o Action Required: A meeting will be scheduled between FEMA, ECY, & the <br />County for further discussion. <br />Training <br />Regular training should be incorporated to ensure that staff continue to be aware of Kittitas <br />County's floodplain management responsibilities as a participant in the National Flood Insurance <br />Program. Ecology will work with staff to <br />accomplish these tasks.
