MISSION, VISION, AND VALUE STATEMENTS <br />I. INTRODUCTION <br />This Airport Strategic Business Plan (ASBP) uses a logical, disciplined, and collaborative <br />structure to set out the mission, vision, goals, objectives, and actions plans that will drive <br />the dayto-day management, and operation of Kittitas County Airport (Airport). ln <br />essence, this ASBP transforms the Airport's mission and vision into specific goals, <br />objectives, and actions. <br />II. MISSION, VISION, AND VALUE STATEMENTS <br />Following are the Airport's mission, vision, and value statements developed during the <br />strategic planning process and approved by the County. <br />The mission of the Kittitas County Airport (Bowers Field) is to operate and develop the <br />Airport and lndustrial Park in a safe and efficient manner to encourage the availability of <br />high-quality aviation and non-aviation products, services, and facilities; support <br />professional aviation education programs; enhance the economic benefit for the County; <br />and support local and regional emergency preparedness. <br />The vision of the Kittitas County Airport (Bowers Field) is to be the leading Central <br />Washington regional general aviation airport that is a vital and self-sufficient center of air <br />transportation and economic activity. <br />ln addition to the Airport's mission and vision, the following core values serve as a <br />compass for our actions. <br />Safety <br />Airport management will encourage and maintain a safe environment through proper <br />training, thoughtful actions, and adherence to safety regulations at all times. <br />People <br />Striving to meet the unique needs of our customers, community, and visitors, we commit to <br />their satisfaction and well-being by treating them with respect, dignity, and fairness. <br />Accountability <br />Taking responsibility for individual and team actions, decisions and results by establishing <br />clear plans and goals and measuring our progress against them. <br />lntegrity <br />Practicing highest standards of ethical behavior and maintaining credibility by ensuring <br />our actions match our words. <br />Performance Excel lence <br />Setting standards of high-quality performance through education and achieving <br />excellence by implementing best practices. <br />1 <br />A.
