KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: May 3, 2022 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Advertise a Request for Statement of <br />Qualifications Supporting Civil and Structural <br />Design for the Replacement of Bridge 07101 <br />Liberty Road over Swauk Creek, CRP 306-21 <br />BACKGROUND: On March 29, 2022, Kittitas County was informed <br />that the Liberty Road Swauk Creek Bridge <br />Replacement Project was selected to receive <br />funding through the FFY 2022 WA Federal Lands <br />Access Program (FLAP). The funds were <br />transferred to FHWA and will be administered <br />through WSDOT Local Programs per the Local <br />Agency Guidlelines (LAG). The current estimate for <br />all phases of the project is $2,947,000.00. The <br />Preliminary Engineering Phase of the project will <br />require a 13.5% local funding match under the <br />FLAP. <br />INTERACTION: <br />Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Authorize Issuing a Request for Statement of <br />Qualifications Supporting Design and Construction <br />Support for the Replacement of Bridge 07101 <br />Liberty Road over Swauk Creek, CRP 306-21 <br />HANDLING: <br />Return one (1) original to Public Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: Request for Statement of Qualifications Supporting <br />Design and Construction Support for the <br />Replacement of Bridge 07101 Liberty Road Over <br />Swauk Creek <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark Cook, Director of Public Works <br />
