My wife's email is cc'd
on this message. This is a second home for us that we visit on average twice a month.
Our Suncadia home is located in the River Ridge area, so one of the homes that is
relatively far from the main entrance. As such, we have listened with interest to other
Suncadia residents who have voiced concerns about the potential for chokepoints
developing along exit routes so long as the main entrance remains as the only exit point
that is open all the time. This is not a concern for us during normal conditions, but would be
a concern if a wildfire or similar event occurs that prompts Suncadia residents to evacuate
all at once.
We understand that a development proposal is before the county that would add additional
residents to the "back half" of the Suncadia property. We generally support further
development and think it has the potential to benefit current Suncadia property owners and
the surrounding community, but would like to the County to secure commitments from
Suncadia management to improve and expand exit access points before large number of
additional lots are approved for development.
Thank you for your consideration to our request.
Respectfully,
Bruce and Robbi Duff
21 Steelhead Ct
(our Suncadia address)
Index #25
