Motion <br />02-03 carried to approve the January 20, 2022 Board of Health meeting minutes. <br /> <br />Public Comment Opened at 10:38am <br />Public Comment Closed at 10:38am <br /> <br />Department updates <br />Health Officer Update <br />Dr. Mark Larson updated the board on the following topics: <br />• COVID-19 data in the United States and Washington <br />• Kittitas County COVID-19 numbers <br />• Disease trend high, but decreasing <br />• Hospitalization rates <br />• Influenza <br />• Vaccination rates <br />• Mental health <br /> <br />Discussion on COVID-19 treatments and if they are over the counter or prescription only and clarification on cases <br />per 100,000. <br /> <br />Director’s Report <br />Ms. Lamb updated the board on the following topics: <br />• Leadership team attended “Presenting Confidently and Concisely” workshop on January 28, with six 1-on- <br />1 coaching sessions for supervisors and coordinators <br />• Process Improvements by QI Coordinator, Erin Moore: Future Fee Schedules, Public Hearings, Notices <br />• New BOH member, James Donaldson <br />• New Public Health Director, Chelsey Loeffers <br />• New Health Promotion Supervisor, Audi Martinez <br />• 1152 Implementation Progress update <br />• Additional Code Revisions & Public Hearing <br />• Proclamation Declaring National Public Health Week (April) <br />
