<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY BOARD OF HEALTH (BOH) <br />Meeting Minutes <br />February 17, 2022 <br />Commissioners’ Auditorium and WebEx <br /> 10:00am <br /> <br /> <br />Present <br />Board of Health (BOH): Cory Wright, Dede Utley, Brett Wachsmith, John Asriel M.D, James Donaldson <br /> <br />Absent: Laura Osiadacz, <br /> <br />Public Health: Audelia Martinez, Cambron Walker, Candi Blackford, Erin Moore, Jesse Cox, Kasey Knutson, Chelsey <br />Loeffers, Katie Odiaga, Tristen Lamb, Mark Larson M.D., Mackenzie Carter, Marie Betts, Rebekah Moon <br /> <br />Other: <br /> <br />Meeting called to order at 10:13am <br /> <br /> <br />BOH Public Hearing to consider the following: <br />• Consider revisions to Kittitas County Code Chapter 13.04 On-Site Sewage Disposal Systems <br /> <br />Jesse Cox presented the revisions to Kittitas County Code Chapter 13.04 On-Site Sewage Disposal Systems. <br /> <br />Public comment opened. <br /> <br />Paula McMinn gave a public comment regarding why the health department is not more involved in lead tests, and <br />why the health department is not more involved in ensuring that lead does not get where it does not belong. <br /> <br />Public comment closed. <br /> <br />Motion to continue this public hearing considering revisions to Kittitas County Code Chapter 13.04 On-Site Sewage <br />Disposal Systems to the March 17th, 2022 for clarification of 4 terms. <br />Motion 02-01: Motion to continue this public hearing considering revisions to Kittitas County Code Chapter <br />13.04 On-Site Sewage Disposal Systems to the March 17th, 2022 for clarification of 4 terms. <br />Cory Wright moved to continue this public hearing considering revisions to Kittitas County Code Chapter 13.04 <br />On-Site Sewage Disposal Systems to the March 17th, 2022 for clarification of 4 terms. Brett Wachsmith second. <br />All approved. Motion 02-01 carried to continue this public hearing considering revisions to Kittitas County Code <br />Chapter 13.04 On-Site Sewage Disposal Systems to the March 17th, 2022 for clarification of 4 terms. <br /> <br />Cory Wright suggested that the terms septage, sewage, sanitary privy, and chemical toilet be clarified and defined <br />for the continuation of this public hearing for the March 2022 meeting. <br /> <br />BOCC Public Hearing to consider the following: <br />• Consider revisions to Kittitas County Code Chapter 13.04 On-Site Sewage Disposal Systems <br />Public comment opened. <br /> <br />Paula McMinn gave a public comment regarding lead levels, woodfire smoke and wildfire smoke and how that <br />affects the environment and people. <br />Public comment closed.
