RESOLUTION 2022-086 ANNUAL PAINT STRIPE PROGRAM PUBLIC WORKS Approve Resolution No. 2022-086, Awarding a Contract for the 2022 Annual Paint Stripe Program to Stripe Rite, Inc. in the amount of $288,888.24, and to authorize the County Engineer to sign the Contract documents. RESOLUTION 2022-087 OFFICIAL COUNTY NEWSPAPER COMMISSIONERS Approve Resolution No. 2022-087, Awarding a Contract to the Daily Record, for the Official County Newspaper beginning July 1, 2022, through June 30, 2023, at a rate of $9.00 per column inch for legal advertising, based on a 6-column format, and to approve the Contract between Kittitas County and the Daily Record. BOARD DISCUSSION/DECISION ITEMS RESOLUTION 2022-081 REET II TAX – GENERAL ELECTION COMMISSIONERS Vice-Chairman Wright moved to approve Resolution No. 2022-081, Authorizing Placing the Increase of the Real Estate Excise Tax on the November Ballot, by amending the last whereas “be maintained by the Elections Division of the Kittitas County Auditor’s Office and adjusted periodically as required by law”; changing the County Auditor’s website to the “Kittitas County” website; and under 1.8.020 Voting Precincts, changing from the Auditor’s website to “Kittitas County” website; and added sentence at end of the Code section “Temporary precinct adjustments shall be referred to the Board of County Commissioners for approval by Resolution within one year of date of adjustment”. Commissioner Wachsmith seconded. Motion carried 3-0.
