3.3.2 ODefault.bpw and BasicStart.bpw Worksheets <br />If you open the ODefault.bpw worksheet, it looks blank (Figure 11). But as we have ex- <br />plained, it includes the full set of selections (Appendices D through H). The only differ- <br />ence between ODefault.bpw and BasicStart.bpw is the selection of the SURFACE mod- <br />ule. The 0 in the file name forces it to show up at the top of the list. If you open ODefault. <br />bpw and select a module, then the default input options, output variables, appearance <br />options, and so forth will appear. <br />Recall that the defaults are simply our selections. You may want to develop your own set <br />of defaults and name it something like OMyDefault.bpw. For example, you may prefer to <br />use more than three colors on the graphs. You can, how- <br />ever, change the startup worksheet (kTle > Set startup worksheet) to another example <br />worksheet or to any worksheet that you have saved. If you generally use metric units, this <br />saves the steps of starting with BasicStart.bpw and then changing the units set. It is also <br />helpful to be able to change your startup worksheet based on your current work effort. <br />When working as a Fire Behavior Analyst on a wildfire, you would use a different startup <br />worksheet than the one you would use when you are working on prescribed fire planning <br />in the office.
