12—Input Values
The worksheet includes lines or input fields for all required input variables. Values must
be entered for all lines unless they are shaded in blue. Values entered on a blue line are ig-
nored because they are not needed for current calculations. In some cases, an input value
for one variable (for example, fuel model) determines whether an input is required for
another (for example, live fuel moisture). In Figure 4, none of the selected fuel models
contains a live fuel moisture component, and that line is blue.
13—Acceptable Fire Conditions
This section of the worksheet is added when Table shading for acceptable fire condi-
tions is selected on the Module Selection window (Figure 1; Section 12).
14—Run Option Notes
Notes are automatically generated for select run options (Appendix D). In this example,
note that the maximum reliable wind limit IS imposed. A Run Option selection is not
listed, however, when it is obvious. For example, if fuel moisture is selected to be entered
by individual size class rather than by dead and live category or by moisture scenario, the
worksheet requests those values, and an additional note is not needed.
I5—Output Variables
The output variable selections are optionally listed in the Output Variables section and
can be removed using Configure > Appearance preferences > Worksheet. Although the
output tables and graphs clearly show the output variables, the list in this section is a use-
ful summary with units and the associated module name.
16—Notes
The Notes section provides a space for user comments and is helpful in document-
ing a run. This section can be eliminated from the worksheet or the viewing area can
be changed to as many as 10 lines long using Configure > Appearance preferences >
Worksheet.
10 USDA Forest Service Gen.
