Job Description <br />Kittitas County, Washington <br />TITLE: <br />LEAD FISCAL ANALYST <br />CREATED: <br />1.031 W 02/18/2022 <br />REPORTSTO: <br />FINANCE MANAGER <br />DEPARTMENT: <br />PUBLIC WORKS <br />JOBSUMMARY: <br />Under the general supervision of the Finance Manager, this position leads the <br />work of the Fiscal Analysts by scheduling and overseeing the daily workload. The <br />Lead Fiscal Analyst monitors and evaluates the work of the Fiscal Analysts; resolves <br />minor work or personnel problems; and makes recommendations to the Finance <br />Manager regarding performance, evaluations, discipline, training, and recruitment. <br />The Lead Fiscal Analyst also performs complex accounting functions following the <br />principles of accounting and financial reporting as set forth in the State of <br />Washington Budgeting, Accounting and Reporting System (BARS), Governmental <br />Accounting Standards Board's (GASB), Generally Accepted Accounting Principles <br />(GAAP) and County policies and procedures.
