Future Plans*We will do more research and identify more sponsorship deadlines, to secure
partnerships of that nature earlier.
Ticket prices will increase inoementally, and we will offer more side events - like
paid cider-making workshops - thai will attract more attendees and increase
revenue.
Keeping great musicians is critical, and balancing what's affordable with what's
exciting and attractive to ticket buyers, will continue to be something that we
monitor closely. We also plan to build ihe partnership with Chinook Entertainment
so that one day the partnership has them paying for the talent and KEEN can focus
on other elements of the event.
CiderCraft/Sip and NW Cider Association have both indicated thal they would
support (sponso| a juriedlcompetitive program, which would attract the very
highest quality products fiom around the State. NW Cider Assn may help us
negotiate the pathways to being able to offer out of state products. Beverage
competitions charge entry fees, and thai would increase our income and boost our
cachei. Which in turn would make us more attractive to sponsors.
2500 character limit
Application Questions: Parl 4
6l Additional lnformation
Provide any additional information which will assist the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee in evaluating your
project and its benefit to tourism.
COVID-19 lnfOrmation It you had a ptanned evenl in 20?0 or 2021 . whether they were able to take place or not. please describe any
successes altd challerges you experienced.
aur 2421 event came close to being cancelled, but in August we decided to require
proof of vaccination in order to attend.
Though it led to a few nasty comments on social media, which were promptly
reported, and a few ticket refunds, overall our attendance was really boosted after
announcing the requirement.
The change made people feel safe and comfortable at ihis event. We also moved
our cider houses out of the indoor rooms at Western Town so that nearly the entire
event was ouidoors.
Those changes allowed our eveni to be lhe most successful yet!
2500 character limrt
''":
