Provide point of <br />contact for Chamber of Commerce Commercial tenants and managing of properties. <br />ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:o Serve as the secondary contact for the county as Associate Economic Development (ADO).o Attend required trainings, conferences, etc.r Business Development Center (BDC) /Catalyst Liaisono Market use of space to businesses and community groupso Build and manage event/meeting calendaro Market events to the communityo Work in collaboration with the BDC Committeeo Prepare/organize space based on needso Assist out-of-county businesses seehng to relocate to the county.o Meet with and assist businesses from out of the county.o Arrange sight visits; working with other economic development contacts.o Serve as "property expert" for the Chamber. Manage and update KCCC's property data base under the <br />supervision of Chief Executive Officer. Update building and site availability on a monthly basis <br />internally for KCCC's website and externally with state Department of Commerce. Scrub properry <br />information annually for accuracy and designated featured properties quarterly.o Track available economic development/tourisnr gants and opportunities:o Opportunity Zoningo .09 Funding Countyo Yakima County's Development Association Partnership "Enterprise Challenge"r Aid in the production of a semi-annual newsletter. This includes gathering pertinent information, drafting and <br />formatting articles, and disseminating to the appropriate industry list.r Participate in various external and internal meetings and events that require KCCC staffsupport and involvement. <br />This may include Chamber functions, CenterFuse meeting and other possible functions.o Grow membership at a rate consistent with the goals and objectives of the Chamber's budget through ouffeach <br />and constant contact in order to anticipate and address the needs of current and future membership.- <br />MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSl.
