Part 5 <br />Please explain. <br />Prior Year Paid Overnight Stay Data <br />Overnight stays for the 2019 production of Music Man, were calculated based upon <br />20% of total event attendees (240 individuals) traveling over 50 miles (response <br />2.2), and by using spending and accommodation tables and2017 data from Dean <br />Runyan Repori: <br />Day visitors (35%). 84 x $45/person = $3,780 <br />Overnight (30%) (Hotel/Mofel).72 x $187/person = $'l 3,464 <br />Overnight (35%) (Private Home): 84 x $57/person per trip = $4.766 <br />Of those staying in hotel/motel accommodations. the average party size is 2.5 <br />people, and they stay an average of 1 .6 nights. 72 people I 2.5 = 28.8 x 1 .6 nights = <br />46 paid lodging room nights <br />FUTURE METHODOLOGY <br />We utilize a new ticketing platform for all of our productions that includes reporting of <br />tickets purchased by zipcode. While we recognize that some local attendees will <br />purchase lickets on behalf of oulof-town family and friends, this report allows us to <br />get a much more accurate idea of the number of attendees coming from cities thal <br />are 50+ miles away. <br />We will supplement this information with an audience survey form jnserted into each <br />playbill and collected at performances.
