Any profits from prevtous festivals have been <br />dedicaled to inrproving the ieslival experietlce the following yea. snd helping suppott <br />the Jazz Studies program at CWU. <br />-- We lecognize that festivals around tlre Uniled States are undergoing <br />lranslormational changes, due to both COVID and the shifttng demographics and <br />financial practices irr lhe music industry We have survrved for 20+ yeats on <br />donaiions, grants, and vo|"rnleer labor to hold ticket prices to one of the most <br />affordable festivals in the ent,te Pacifrc Nortnwest. We are focused on redesignirlg <br />ourselves to stay both viai:le and relevant. <br />--lf we are io stay a non-orofit operalion dedicated to ourcommunity's benefit, <br />cor:tinued ccmnrunity-based support is essential. This must extend lo the previously <br />promised (but so far not executed) changes in the downtown Main Siage area {i-e. <br />Rotarl Pavilion area).
