The <br />Conference has been held annually since 1g6g at various locations in Washingion <br />State. (except Covid cancellations in 2020 and2021) <br />All of our survey information reflects pent up demand for this conference <br />Ellensburg has been a well received location by the SAR Community and current <br />plans are for the Conference to remain in Ellensburg. <br />SAR instructors, volunteers and professionals from Washington, Oregon, ldaho, <br />Montana, Canada, lceland, New Zealand and UK regularly aitend the Washington <br />State Search and Rescue Conference. <br />2500 character !itnit <br />Response 2.2*Describe the p.ior success of your evenllaciivilyifacility in altraction lourists. <br />During the June 201 9 conference: <br />295 SAR Volunteers paid registrations for the 3 day conference June 21-23 <br />86 SAR professionals and SAR Volunteers attended the pre conference June j720. <br />Conservative estimates: <br />The 86 that atiended the preconference (June17-20). 2/3 stayed in Hotel/Motel 113 <br />Camped. (minus 10 that live less than 50 miles away) <br />Hotel/Motel $1 87 average per night for a 3 night stay= 92g.OUO <br />Camping $52 average per night for a 3 night stay = 6 3,70, <br />Conservative estimate: The 295 that attended the Main 3 day Conference (June 21- <br />23 2019) 2/3 stayed in Hotel/Motel 113 Camped.
