lf your organization collaborates or has created partnerships with other organizations, groups, or other events,
how is this accomplished?
4.'1 Collaboration *Currently, we have valuable partnerships with both communtty groups, as well as
regional and corporate sponsors. Our major sponsors we look to have back for the
2O22 event include Mike's Hard Lemonade and Legends Casino Hotel. We've also
found success in local trade partnerships with KXDD radio and the Harnpton lnrr of
Ellensburg to help support our event operations and marketrng.
Our conrmunity partners are valuable as a volunteer effort to help run our event and
set special displays. These groups include the Ellensburg Rodeo Posse, Rodeo City
Roller Girls. National Guard. and Antique Military Vehicles Club. We are also
thankful to ail our flrst responder volunteer help that ensures we all have a safe and
fun time. This includes Kittitas Valley Fire and Rescue as well as the Kittitas County
Sherifls Department Reserve Program.
We are looking at expanding our partnerships for this upcoming year and the biggest
one we are looking forward to is with the City of Ellensburg. The City's Park and
Recreation Department has shown interest and commitment to settrng up additional
4th of July festivities in Mernorial Park next to the fairgrounds. These family fun
activities and entedainment would begin in the afternoon and lead up to the opening
of the concert area and evening schedule. We very much look fonryard to working on
this event expansiorr and having a great partner in the City of Ellensburg!
?t00 aiiaracte. ltttii
4.2 Promoting Local
EUSlness
iJescr!fle lio\a you \,1ill promal6 {o(lEiilg establrsllrlenls. tesiauianls. aDd bListness locataC ii Kiliilas CoLtnty
Our plan is io establish a Iarger local business partner program to, in turn. promote
one another on an even bigger scale this year. The event team is working on ideas
currently on which businesses would make great partners in cross-promoting
through social media and on-site visitors. Our website has been a wonderful tool to
feature businesses suclr as hotels. restaurants. bars. and much more where we can
help drive event atiendee traffic to therr small businesses as well during their stay.
25C0 chaf:lcie. limtl
4.3 Host Hotel*ls':f:.e a irosl hclel iot yout e'lrltt or {jrant ptoleci'2 li yes. list {he hoiel.
No
' Yes. Hampton lnn of Eliensbirrg has been a great hotel partner for us
year-round the last couple years. and especiaily during the Pakiot
Night Under the Lights. Currently ihat partnership is set to continue
in 2022 as well.
5l Future Plans
Please explain what plans exist to allow this project to become self-sustaining. lnclude any plans for ficket sales,
event sponsors, and other cost-fecovery models.
Future Plans*As Patriot Night Under the Lights grows as an established annual event. we expect
the event attendees to increase. We have the capacity to double our attendance as
we proceed. so by making this a desired and memorable event we can becorne self-
sustaining just by increased ticket sales, However. as the event grows il also
becomes more marketable to major sponsors and we work with a Sponsorship
Consultant that specializes in event sponsorships to assist in generating that funding
each year. Through the growth opportunity in each of these areas, we plan to be
self-sustaining rn the next couple years-
2500 cltaracier linril
Application Questions'.
