111 <br /> <br />H. KCPHD will track mask distribution numbers and request additional supplies via <br />emergency management or regional partners, as needed. <br /> <br />Indoor Air Quality Testing of Schools: <br />A. Upon request, KCPHD will provide indoor air monitoring of schools. <br />B. Two KCPHD staff will be present for on-site testing. <br />C. During indoor air testing, KCPHD will provide air testing information, air quality <br />charts, and indoor air quality readings. <br />D. KCPHD will provide educational materials as available from DOH and Ecology. <br />E. Documentation of readings will be kept on the shared county drive. <br />F. Readings will be forward to the Health Officer or Administrator for <br />recommendations. <br />G. Recommendations will be issued to the school on the same day of monitoring. <br /> <br />Response specific to hazardous air quality conditions and outdoor events: <br />A. KCPHD will notify emergency management as soon as “hazardous” air quality <br />conditions are predicted via Air Resource Advisors assigned from the United <br />States Forest Service or when air quality has reached “hazardous” via Ecology’s <br />monitor. <br />B. KCPHD will utilize mass notification when “hazardous” air quality is forecasted <br />or reached within the county. <br />C. Events permitted through the county or local municipalities, openly advertised as <br />an event to the public, or charge admission for outdoor events will be issued a <br />health order by KCPHD. <br />a. Health Orders will be issued prior to the event, with specific language that <br />the event is to be cancelled, if and when the “hazardous” air quality <br />condition is reached (301 index/WAQA 250.5) determined by Ecology’s <br />monitor. <br />b. For events with an audience that exceeds local capabilities, KCPHD will <br />request emergency management to open an Emergency Operation Center <br />to respond, as needed. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
