Mlale 1ryxpo'l Ass" f'woue <br />We will continue to work closely with our local exporters, primarily hay companies, and seek to address the <br />challenges they face. WE wHl also continue one-on-one business visitations and round tables with elected <br />officials, potential exporters and the Ports of Seattle and Tacoma to Identify needs, barriers and potential <br />solutions to obstedes preventing growth. Links to resources will be provided on our websites and continue to <br />provide referrals to Commerce, SBDC, etc <br />2 Support for regional economic research and regional planning efforts to implement target Industry sector strategies and <br />ather economic development strategies, including cluster-based strategies. Research and planning efforts should support <br />Increased Irving standards and Increased foreign direct investment, and be aligned with the statewide economic <br />development strategy. Regional associate development organizations retain their independence to address local <br />concerns and goals. We will seek to make those plans more open to business <br />development and growth, and will seek to meet changing needs and to remove barriers to investment in our <br />communrlies. The coordination of the county wide strategies in our current economic development plan, as <br />well as other regional planning efforts, and improvement of freight mobility, will continue. <br />
