Community Action Plan (or other community-based plan) — Officially Adopted Cie Elum Master Plan adopted May 2018 The partnership with the City of Cle Mum and the Cle Elum Downtown Association; the Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce will assist in the following goals found in the Cle Elum Master plan in the following projects: • Wayfinding Plan Implementation • Pennsylvania Avenue Infill/Redevelopment • Gaslight District Infill/Redevelopment • Wye Park Expansion trails connection • First Street/Downtown Redevelopment ® Other CenterFuse Strategies — for 2022 As a complimentary non-profit, the Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce continues a partnership with CenterFuse to ensure effective strategies for economic advancement in the Ellensburg area and within the UGA of the City of Ellensburg. Based on review of their strategies, the Kittitas County Chamber aligns with the following efforts: • Bring businesses to Ellensburg by collaborative efforts to support a vibrant and prosperous economy. • Develop marketing content and materials that clearly provide the benefits of doing business in Ellensburg. • Facilitate connections and discussions between public and private stakeholders that create growth, providing a robust toolkit for investment and continued development in Ellensburg. 7. How will this position meet the economic development goals of the County and region? The Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce will be focusing on the following elements: • Continue our efforts with SBDC Certified Advisor to support existing businesses in order to retain and assist in their success and potential expansion. We will continue to offer a variety of workshops both virtually and on location at our Business Development Center in Cle Elum. • Continue to list resources of current demographics, business climate, quality of life and available properties inventory for sale or lease on our website. • Continue our social media strategies. • Continue to collaborate with CenterFuse, Ellensburg Downtown Association, Cle Elum Downtown Association, Roslyn Downtown Association, Mountains to Sound Greenway, Kittitas Conservation Trust, Towns to Teanaway, Forterra, City of Roslyn City council, City of Cle Elum planner and commissions, City of Kittitas Council, City of Ellensburg and Kittitas County community Development Offices. • Continue to highlight and preserve historic and rural stories throughout Kittitas County through our efforts of Tourism promotion for Kittitas County, City of Ellensburg and the City of Cle Elum. • Continue our guidance to businesses on working with local government agencies via our website. • Continue to collaborate with HopeSource Ellensburg, Cle Elum, COAL in Ronald, Kittitas Pantry and FISH to offer assistance and support for social services such as housing, transportation, and services for our citizens in the county.
