Please review the attached performance measures and business <br />plan,, in which we will be providing the required reporting for the requested funds. This will be the same <br />metrics we will be providing. Also including (but not limited to): <br />o Number of businesses sited, retained, expanded, or startups. <br />• Number of jobs created <br />• Number of jobs retained <br />o Number of Capital Infusion thru Loans/Equity <br />• Number of Government Contracts Awards <br />• Amount of investment generated <br />• Average annual wage of created jobs (in dollars) <br />• Total Clients counseled/Total Client Hours <br />G. Please explain in detail how this position is compatible with the plan(s): <br />B Overall Economic Development Plan — Officially Adopted June 2019 <br />The trio of positions will help to achieve the goals found in the Kittitas County comprehensive Plan, <br />noted in Chapter 10 on Economic Development. This will be the area in which the proposed <br />Director will create a timeline of goals and deliverables to be met. Specific areas will be as follows: <br />• Business Retention and Expansion <br />• Recruitment/Relocation to the county <br />• Low impact to resources and land <br />• Commercial/lndustrialInfrastructure <br />• Property/Land inventory at the airport <br />Kittitas County along with the City of Ellensburg has initiated the opportunity to update the 2009 TIP <br />Strategies Economic Development and Action Plan. Creating a steering committee, which Kittitas <br />County Chamber/ADO is a member, and other tasks that will begin November 2021. <br />City of Cie Elum Comprehensive Plan — Officially Adopted June 2019 <br />The work of Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce will continue the partnership with the <br />City of Cle Elum by following goals and policies found in their Comprehensive Plan <br />chapter on Economic Development. Specific areas will be as follows: <br />• Attraction of Entrepreneurs or "lone -eagle" to the community. <br />• Business Retention and Expansion <br />• Micro -Specialty Manufacturing and Services <br />• Local Investment Network — attracting and supporting specialty businesses <br />City of Ellensburg Comprehensive Plan — Officially Adopted 2020 <br />Review of the Economic Development Chapter the Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce <br />will continue the partnership with the community development department at the City of <br />Ellensburg to help in the following areas: <br />
