Response 2.2*
Application Questions'. Part 2
Descriile the prior success af your event,laclivity/tacility in attractian to{rists.
The show has been foriunate to have shoppers and vendors from not only all over
Washington State, bui out of state as well. Surveys are collected to help track where
the shoppers and vendors are coming from and over 47o/o of my attendees are
tourists coming from more than 50 miles away.
. 11% of ihem stayed in overnight paid accommodations
. 37ok came for the day or stayed in other accommodaiions.
Survey results reflected, my attendees range from age 20 and under to 60 plus, with
the majority being female. A lot of them heard of the show lhrough Facebook and
advertising in their areas through other media such as: television, newspaper and
magazine ads. Marketing is focused on areas over 50 miles away and the surveys
help track to see if marketirrg is working. The survey results do reflect ihat marketing
dollars spent are helping- The numbers reflected an increase in areas we pushed
rnarketing.
I have learned that less than 1 % of those surveyed are coming fiom out of State or
Country. Although I haven't been able to attract more than 1%, I am continuing to
grow my event by the funding received. I am hoping that with my digital presence
and new padnerships that I can increase this particular aitendee. I will dedicate a
percentage of my advertising to draw more from out of State or Country.
2500 characler Iimit
3l lmpact
