We recognize that this is a lengthy process for committee members, and we appreciate your time and energy to consider our application. WSSSM worked hard in 2021 lo be good slewards of the Lodging Tax Funds. By partnering with Craters of the Moon. our advertising was done creatively and professionally AND at minimal costl Megan Smiley of Sunny & Smiley is a sought after media buyer who we are lucky enough to have on our team at no cost. Not only is Megan giving us the best advice, but she is also getting WSSSM great pricing. As the Marketing Director for the museum, l, Kathy McDonald. bring more than 25 years of marketing expertise to our organization. I look forward to partnering with others in the county to raise awareness and create tourism events and opportunities for bolh WSSSM and others in the county. I have gotten much more involved in CAMAH this year and am having fun creating a brand new website. As WSSSM enters its 7th year of operation in 2022. we are super excited about 3 things: 1. NEW Snowboarding Exhibit and Film: After a Covid stall. the Snowboard exhibit and film is on its way to being done. We are excited for the events and prontotion around this new exhibit- 2. ln Person Events: As Covid permits, we are looking fonvard to oflering both in person and hybrid/zoom events on a wide range of toptcs. We have a number of folks lined up for this fall and winier! 3- OTTffelevision Advertising: Nothing showcases our museum like video can. Should we be awarded Lodging Tax Grant Funds. we are especially interested in OTT/Streamed Med ia and Television Advertisin g. We are grateful to have been awarded a grant in 2021 and hope to earn your trust again in 2022. We know that the museum is unique in being one of the only facilities to provide culture and tourisnr drawing evenls in the Northern part of the County.
