Response 1: <br />ProjecUEvent <br />Description * <br />Video Link <br />List of lntended Use of Funds* <br />ONLINE: Social Media/DigitaltuVebsite/E-News <br />Advertising including design/production fees = <br />$12,000 <br />OTT/Streamed Medla Video Advertising including <br />design/production fees = $3,800 <br />This is the second year that the Washington State Ski & Snowboard Museum <br />(WSSSM) (www.wsssm,org) will be applying for a Kittitas County Lodging Tax Grant. <br />The museum has been opened since 2015 and is in Kittitas County up on <br />Snoqualmie Pass, at The Pass Life development next to the Summit ski area, ideally <br />situated in between two extremely popular venues: Commonwealth restaurant and <br />Drubru brewery. <br />The curreni Board of Directors for WSSSM includes: <br />. Dave Moffett, Founder & President, former Owner of The Summit at Snoqualmie <br />. Kirby Gilbert, Vice President & Ski Historian <br />. Leeds Chamberlain, Secretary, Museologist. specialist in teaching women to ski <br />. Deb Armstrong. Ski lnstructor & Coach and Olympic Gold Medal Winner <br />. John Forsen, Video/Movie Producer & Director, and life-long skier <br />. Christy King, WSSSM volunteer & marketing expert <br />. Guy Lawrence. General Manager, The Summit at Snoqualmie <br />. John W Lundin, Ski Historian, and autlror of "Early Skiing on Snoqualmie Pass" <br />. Lowell Skoog, Ski Mountaineering Expert <br />. John Sutherland, WSSSM volunteer & ski and resort induslry veteran <br />. Hugh Armstrong, Co-Founder & Emeritus Board Member <br />. Dollie Armstrong, Co-Founder & Emeritus Board Member <br />As a non-profit, WSSSM has developed broad and consisteni support from <br />individual and corporate donors across the state. including The Summit at <br />Snoqualmie, Northwest Winter Sports Foundaiion, Ski Washington, K2 Skis, Mervin <br />and more. <br />The museum does not charge admission (always FREE) and is a story-telling <br />museum. digital hands-on museum, with our most popular exhibits on our State's <br />Olympians, Washington Snow Sports Venues (ski area map), Ski Manufacturers, Ski <br />Mountaineering, Outdoors for All Foundation, Nordic and Alpine Traditions. <br />Avalanche Dogs, and more. The museum is run and staffed by one paid employee <br />who manages our operations & volunteers. <br />Due to Covid-'1 9. the museum was closed for the key ski months of January and <br />February 2021 . and we pivoted to online events and events with partners. We <br />utilized the 2021 Lodging Tax Funds (spent on one print ad in 425 magazine and <br />targeted Facebook advertising from May-December 2021) which increased our <br />visitor levels back to pre-pandemic levels in the summer of 2021 . <br />lf awarded, WSSSM would use the Lodging Tax firnds to suppo( three primary <br />aleas in 2022: <br />1.
