6. Special Projects <br />A health and safety grant of $250,000 from WSDA was approved to pave the Armory <br />parking lot. Kady is trying to coordinate it being done prior to fair but we have until 2023 to <br />complete the project. <br />Kady is working with Patti to coordinate construction of the Bloom lean-to addition. Kady is <br />also working with the Cascade Cow Cutters to lessen the impact on their shows. <br />Kady will be meeting with Dan on the Rodeo Board for developing the project and punch list <br />for 2022. <br />IT is still working with Ednetics on security camera selection and implementation. The grant <br />extension for -that project was -approved. <br />OTHER BUSINESS <br />There will be a meeting tonight in Western Town Shop 6 about the Shady Acres move out. <br />Commissioner Osiadacz, Patti and other representatives will be available for discussion with <br />community members at that time. <br />The Alder Street project is ongoing. Kady is meeting with Patti, CWU, City and State agencies <br />as appropriate.
