Buffer for Wetland Mitiqation Sites. Anv wetland area that is created. restored. or <br />enhanced as compensation for approved alterations shall be the same as the buffer required <br />for the cateqory of the created. restored. or enhanced wetland.3. Mitiqation Timinq. Mitiqation proiects shall be completed prior to or concurrentlv with <br />permitted alterations and development that will disturb wetlands. ln all other cases, mitiqation <br />shall be completed immediatelv followino disturbance and orior to use or occupanclr of the <br />alteration or development. Construction of mitiqation projects shall be timed to reduce <br />impacts to existinq fisheries. wildlife. and flora. <br />62
