CONSUMER SUPPORT SERVICES <br />I N DIV I DU AL SU PPORT E D E lvlPLOY ttlENT <br />lndividuat Supported Employment (lSE) services are part of <br />an individual's pathway to employment and are taitored to <br />individual needs, interests, and abitities. They are <br />intended to promote career devetopment. These are <br />individualized services necessary to hetp persons with <br />developmental disabitities obtain and continue integrated <br />employment at or above the state's minimum wage in the <br />general workforce. Supported emptoyment occurs in a <br />variety of typicat, integrated workptace environments. <br />Supports can be provided to the ctient, emptoyers, and/or <br />coworkers through activities such as on-the-job training, job <br />restructuring, and technical assistance to employers and <br />2020 <br />coworkers. ln Washington State, clients receiving ISE received an <br />average of 2.5 support hours per week, worked an average of 10 <br />hours perweek, and earned an average of 5138.00 perweek in <br />2019.
