CONSUMER SUPPORT SERVICES <br />I N DIV I DU AL SU PPORT E D E lvlPLOY ttlENT <br />lndividuat Supported Employment (lSE) services are part of <br />an individual's pathway to employment and are taitored to <br />individual needs, interests, and abitities. They are <br />intended to promote career devetopment. These are <br />individualized services necessary to hetp persons with <br />developmental disabitities obtain and continue integrated <br />employment at or above the state's minimum wage in the <br />general workforce. Supported emptoyment occurs in a <br />variety of typicat, integrated workptace environments. <br />Supports can be provided to the ctient, emptoyers, and/or <br />coworkers through activities such as on-the-job training, job <br />restructuring, and technical assistance to employers and <br />2020 <br />coworkers. ln Washington State, clients receiving ISE received an <br />average of 2.5 support hours per week, worked an average of 10 <br />hours perweek, and earned an average of 5138.00 perweek in <br />2019. (Washington State Devetopmental Disabitities Administration, 2020) <br />2021-2023 Targeted Outcomes for ISE <br />r lncrease the percentage of lSE clients reporting hours/wages from72.5% (2020)to 80% <br />by June 30,2023. <br />o lncrease the percentage of working ISE ctients who make at least minimum wage from <br />41% (20201 to 100% by June 30, 2023. <br />. lncrease the average hours per month worked by emptoyed high acuity clients from 6 <br />(2020) to 10 by June 30, 2023. <br />C O lvl lvlu N I TY I N C LU Sl O N <br />Community lnclusion (Cl) services are designed to promote <br />individuatized skitt devetopment, independent living, and <br />community integration for individuats to learn how to <br />engage in their local community activety and freely. <br />Service providers assist individuals in participating in <br />activities that provide opportunities to develop <br />relationships and to learn, practice, and appty skitts that <br />result in greater independence and community inctusion. <br />Examples of community access services may be aiding in <br />obtaining membership or participating in community <br />organizations, training for votunteer work, and support in <br />buitding retationships. <br />2020 <br />2021-2023 Targeted Outcomes for Cl <br />o lncrease the percentage of ctients participating <br />in volunteer work from 3% (2020) to 10% by June <br />30, 2023. <br />e Ensure that at teast 50% of clients participating in volunteer work can do so for at least <br />20 hours per month on average. <br />Number of lndividuals <br />Receivinq Service 40 <br />Organizotions <br />Providing Service <br />Elmview <br />Entrust <br />Amount of Funding s227,869 <br />Individuol Supported <br />Employment services ore <br />for worki ng-age adults. <br />Number of lndividuols <br />Receivinq Service 34 <br />Organizations <br />Providing Service <br />Elmview <br />Entrust <br />Amount of Funding s121.713 <br />Community lnclusion <br />Services are for adults <br />who are not in the <br />workforce, mostly <br />seniors. <br />14
