Acuity <br />According to Washington Administrative Code 388-828-9200, acuity is defined by an atgorithm that <br />determines the tevel of employment support a DDA ctient can receive. Fewer Washington State students with disabilities met grade tevel standards <br />compared to students without disabitities (Engtish Language Arts 21% vs.66%, Math 16% vs.54%, <br />Science 17%vs.51%). Sixty-four and a hatf percent of students with disabitities graduated in four <br />years, compared to 85.5% of students without disabitities. About22% of students with disabitities <br />continue with their high school education after four years, and over 13% drop out (compared to 6% and <br />over 8% for students without disabilities, respectively.) Students with disabitities also have lower rates <br />of regutar attendance (83% vs. 90%), significantly lower rates of kindergarten readiness (22% vs. 55%), <br />and higher rates of suspension and expulsion (6% vs. 2%).
