10/25/2021 MINUTES 2 <br />UPDATE COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Carly Brettmann, Communications Director provided updates and <br />received recommendations from the Board on what they felt was a <br />priority focus for her. The Board discussed Facebook posts for the <br />week they wanted to be published. <br /> <br />UPDATE BOCC/ DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Each Commissioner was assigned three different Department Heads to <br />meet with on a weekly basis. The assignments for 2021 were <br />determined at the Board of County Commissioners Office Admin meeting <br />on 1-11-2021. <br /> <br />Each Commissioner reviewed discussions held with their respective <br />departments and exchanged details of those meetings. <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS/GENERAL UPDATES <br /> <br />There were general updates on meetings & conversations that the <br />Board participated in, individually over the past week. <br /> <br />Director Cook requested the Board’s direction on how to move forward <br />with the Upper County Traffic Task Force. He stated that they have <br />fulfilled the obligations outlined in the task by the Board and <br />where they are at with things now there is different meetings they <br />could participate in and contribute to. There was discussion about <br />them joining the STEER I-90 coalition. Commissioner Wright stated he <br />would like to discuss forming a bigger collation for other traffic <br />flow issues. <br /> <br />Director Cook stated he would prepare language for the Board to <br />consider. <br /> <br />Mandy Buchholz, Administrative Supervisor questioned the Board if <br />they wanted Staff to cancel the Public Hearings for November 16th, <br />2021 at 2:00 p.m. due to them leaving for WSAC that afternoon. <br /> <br />The Board stated they would like to not schedule any Public Hearings <br />for that day. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 9:40 a.m. <br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />ADMINISTRATIVE SUPERVISOR KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Mandy Buchholz Brett Wachsmith, Chairman
