One uploaded to Axon Evidene, <br />multi€m playback allows videos that were recorded by diff€rent body-worn and in-car <br />mmeras (in the same lo€tion and time) to be played back together on the same <br />screen, allowing useB to view an incident from multiple vantage points. lntegration <br />with Axon Evid€n@ means you €n securely share and tEck digital evidene across <br />public safety siakeholders with smart features such as redaction, digital verifi€tion, <br />and audit logs. <br />The cameras have four Mdeo quality settings (Low SD, High SD, Low HD, and High <br />HD) with a minimum video resolution of 480p and a maimum video reslulion of <br />1080p. It utilizes a 16:9 aspect Etio at 1080p and720p, and a 4:3 aspect raiio at <br />480p. The video resolution, encoding bit rate, fEme rate, and video enmding format <br />impact the size of files €ptured at each setting. The devic has 64 GB of non- <br />removable The Low SD setting captures video at a 480p video resolution at a rate <br />of 0,8 GB per 60 minutes of video. This setting supports storage of over 70 houE of <br />video. <br />The Axon Fleet system supports three different methods of emera activation. Two <br />require manual interuention by the officer, while the third does not. First, offiers €n <br />use the View XL MDT appli€lion to s€€ the eurent siatus of each €mera and tap <br />the scre€n to begin a remrding. The €mera status will lhen changa to "Recording" <br />on the screen. The rmrding can be ended using this method as well. Secondlt the <br />officer can press the large Event button on the front of each devic€ to manually <br />begin a recording. The smera status will then change to'Recording" on lhe MDT <br />screen. The re@rding can be ended using this method as well. Finally, Axon Fleet <br />includes handsfree emera activatjon via Axon Signal technology with configurable <br />triggers, including such as light bar activation, door, vehicle speed, acceleration, crash <br />and weapon rack. This allows offiers to focus on the task at hand and spend less <br />time managing technology. Recordings started via Axon Signal activation must be <br />ended manually via the ftont button or by using View XL. <br />The length of the prFevent buffer is mnfigurable Fom 0-120 seconds (in 30 second <br />increments) at 480p and 720p, a d Fom 0-90 seconds at 1080p. The camera also <br />features configurable on/off audio capture lo remrd the evidence your agency needs. <br />The duration of the pre€vent buffer is 30 seconds by default. Cameras mn also be <br />configured to record sound as well as video during buffering (sound is not recorded <br />by default during buffering). <br />Axon body-wom and in€r mmeras work either as standalono dsvices or in <br />mniunction with one another. The two systems integEte seamlessly, extending lhe <br />cverall c€pabilities of the Axon Evidencs gcosystem. This cross functionality allows <br />users to €tegoriza and label video on both Fleet and body cameras Aom the Axonylew XL software application. Wlten uploaded to Axon Evidenc€ metadata added in <br />lhe field is ingested with the video files. <br />There are two oftload methods available to upload Axon Fleet in-€r vid6o to Axon <br />Evidenco. Axon Sales Engineem will work Mth memb€r agencias to evaluale lh6se <br />methods to ensure that the right option for each agency is chosen. Both opiions <br />allow the cameras lo remain in the vehicle via wireless connectivity. Regardles of <br />offload method chosen, lhe MDT/MDC running Axon View XL must be abte to <br />mnnect to the lntemet- <br />Ihe Axon Fleet system supporls wireless offload via LTS4G networks using an incr <br />broadband connection. Th6 configuration also reduces the contention on agency Wi-Fi <br />lnftastructure, as Axon Evidence is a cloud-hosted seryice. This offload msthod is <br />b€st supported by an unlimited data and unlimited bandwidth plan (wihout which,yideo upload will likely be throttled). <br />Video is offloaded through an available ellular €rier network and the vehicle must <br />have a compatlble rculer €pable of slmultaneous AP/Client Mode. Axon does not <br />provision, activate or manage €rier SlMs. The MDT/[4DC running Axon View XL <br />must be able to mnnect to the lntemet. <br />Wi-Fi offioad is the second method available to agencies. This is an allemative to <br />LTE uploads for customeE whose LTE data plan throttles uploads or customeG in <br />areas lacking adequate LTE coverage. <br />A Wireless Offfoad Seryer (WOS) is required to facilitate offload via Wi-Fi. The WOS <br />is network appliane that enables multiple mncunent video offloads from the Axon <br />Fleet system leveraging the Axon route/s Wj-Fi as a wireless wide area network <br />(VVWAN) function ihrough compatible W-Fi access points. <br />When a vehicle is within range of a Wi-Fi acess point, the Axon View XL <br />application recognizes the WOS and begins to ofiload videos from the Axon View XL <br />upload queue to that seruer.
