CHMEtIK SITKIN & DAVIS r.;
1t ,l'.lr,.l :1,1
before agreeing to final mitigation procedures with ERLC. A brief summary of these issues is included
below:
1. The District will need to assess existing capital facilities and identify needed capital facilities,
including new, upgraded, improved or replacement facilities necessary to allow the Diskict to
have adequate facilities to provide and maintain the existing levels of fire and emergency
response services within the District while absorbing the future Marian Meadows development.
2. lf additional capital facilities are required to maintain existing levels of fire and emergency
response services within the District while absorbing the future Marian Meadows development,
the District will need to identify existing revenue sources to fund those identified necessary
capitat facilities.
3. lf sufiicient revenue sources do not exist to maintain existing levels of fire and emergency
response services within the District while absorbing the future Marian Meadows development,
the District will need to determine what mitigation measures would proportionally be applicable
and capable of being assessed on the Marian Meadows development so existing businesses
and residents are not adversely affected by a reduetion in fire and emergency response levels
of service caused by the Marian Meadows development.
The District looks forward to continuing to work with ERLC on this matter. Any information that your
team has already prepared regarding this matter should be forwarded to the Districl's attention at p.O.
Box 52, Easton, WA 98925, with a copy to my office at the earliest opportunity.
Sincerely,
CHMELIK SITKIN & DAVIS P.S.
-"1 ./r
/ Z..t*'ztd
Jonathan K.
