Thepublic/privatepartrership is <br />needed in order to support these positions. The work to be accomplished through the Kittitas County <br />Chamber of Commerce is a serviie to the county and the partners involved. These funds provided through <br />the disffessed funds are a sorrce in order to ider11it/ and implement required economic development tools, <br />prograilrs and initiatives to further the competitiveness of Kittitas County. <br />trJaaaitional request in this application w1il provide objectives and goals that can be outcome based and <br />include deliverablls to measure our success. The development of the shategic plan will provide target dates <br />for implementation and completion. This planning process will include the best practices of all the parhers <br />throughout the county including govemment agencies, economic development gfoups, downtown <br />associations, land use and environment agencies, and many others' <br />4. Absolutely, the Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce serves many parfirers <br />from Vaniage to Snoqualmie Pass; and beyond. These three positions will bring resources locally, state <br />and federa[t. There will be many positive opportunities with these positions. It will provide best <br />_ <br />practiees in L wide range of goals, it witt continue the mantra of the county - working together, and it <br />will solidi$'ongoing ehorts throughout the county and the projects that are occurring now and in the <br />futwe. <br />Along with the Kittitas County Charnber board and CEO that serve on committees, state boards, leading <br />business assooiations and affiiiations with influencers throughout the counbry. The positions will serve <br />on local Economic Recovery teams, business associations, non-ptofit groups, and have regular <br />communication with public health, governor's ofiice, and others. <br />What goals and deliverables have you set for this position? How will you messure success? The <br />Kittitas County Chamber of Commerc e 2021 objectives are attached. By adding the Director of <br />Economic Advancement these goals and objectives will change. Each objective will include a level of <br />desired outcome and measurement. Please review the attached. <br />5.
