Lieuteilant Buntin was hired with the Sherifls Office in January 2005. He has worked as a Control Room Operator, Corrections Officer, Corporal, Sergeant and has been the Lieutenant since 2015. Lierttenant Buntin graduated from the Washingon State Corrections Officer Academy in 2005 and continues to attend regular education events and in 2018 received a Middle Management Certification from the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Center. Lieutenant Buntin is responsible for the planning, organization, and d.irecting of the activities for corrections staff to insure the lawful and proper care of inmates. In his duties, Lieutenant Buntin maintains effective working relationships with administrative personnel, public agencies, and the general public to accomplish work under the guidance of State and Federal laws and regulations, Sherift's Of1ice and County polices, regulations and procedures, Other duties include inventory control, training for staff, overseeing civilian law enforcement clerks, volunteer (Ministry, Narcotics Anonymous, Alcoholics Anonymous, etc.) programs, L3 of 2A
