6/28/2021 MINUTES 3 <br /> <br />At 9:47 a.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. <br />Direction to staff to bargain the impacts to the County Shared Leave <br />Policy and report back to the Board. <br /> <br />UPDATE BOCC/ DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Each Commissioner was assigned three different Department Heads to <br />meet with on a weekly basis. The assignments for 2021 were <br />determined at the Board of County Commissioners Office Admin meeting <br />on 1-11-2021. <br /> <br />Each Commissioner reviewed discussions held with their respective <br />departments and exchanged details of those meetings. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION FACEBOOK WEEKLY POSTS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board determined for the week of June 28th they would post on <br />their Facebook page: The ticket sales for Patriot Nights Concert on <br />the 4th of July; the 20th Anniversary Event of the Thirty-Mile Fire; <br />and a post addressing Firework dangers. <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS/GENERAL UPDATES <br /> <br />There were general updates on meetings & conversations that the <br />Board participated in, individually over the past week. <br /> <br />Commissioner Wright questioned where the Communications Director <br />would be sitting. The Board determined that Chairman Wachsmith would <br />work with the County Treasurer as her Conference Room is the most <br />desirable location and it has its own entrance. <br /> <br />Commissioner Wright questioned if the Board was willing to try a <br />shift in office hours. He stated it would be temporary at first but <br />if it works well then potentially indefinitely. He stated he talked <br />to Staff to see if they were interested, and they were so he <br />proposed Monday – Friday 8-4 from July 2nd thru September 30th, 2021. <br />With the caveat to re-visit in September to extend.
