BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2021 - <br />AUTHORIZING THE CHAIR'S SIGNATURE ON COUNTY ROAD <br />ADMINISTRATION BOARD RURAL ARTERIAL PROJECT AGREEMENT <br />SUPPORTING IMPROVEMENTS TO HUNGRY JUNCTION ROAD, CRP 304-20 <br />WHEREAS: Improvements to Hungry Junction Road appear on the County's 2021-2026 <br />adopted six-year transportation plan; and <br />WHEREAS: Public Works solicited and has received Rural Arterial Trust Account <br />(RATA) funding award from the County Road Administration Board (CRAB) <br />through the Rural Arterial Program (RAP) supporting Hungry Junction Road <br />Improvements; and <br />WHEREAS: Public Works was notified by CRAB on April 30, 2021 of $372,860 in <br />funding had been awarded, allowing design work to commence for the <br />improvements; and <br />WHEREAS: The County is required to enter into a project agreement with CRAB <br />accepting project funds; <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public, does hereby authorize the Chair's signature on <br />County Road Administration Board Rural Arterial Project Agreement for <br />Construction Proposal supporting Hungry Junction Improvements from <br />milepost 0.00 — milepost 1.74, County Road Project Number 304-20. <br />DATED on this I st day of June 2021, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, <br />WASHINGTON <br />Brett Wachsmith, Chairman <br />Laura Osiadacz, Vice -Chairman <br />Cory Wright, Commissioner <br />
