5/24/2021 MINUTES 2 <br />Cantwell for the FY 2022 Appropriations Request – I-90 Widening from <br />Easton to Cle Elum as presented. Commissioner Wright seconded. <br />Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />LETTERS SENATOR MURRAY/SENATOR CANTWELL COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Osiadacz moved to approve and authorize Board fignature <br />on letters of support to Senator Patty Murray and Senator Maria <br />Cantwell for the FY 2022 Appropriations Request – Community Project <br />Funding Request – Kittitas County Event Center as presented. <br />Commissioner Wright seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2021-081 OPMA COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Osiadacz moved to approve Resolution 2021-081, <br />Resolution Relieving the Advisory Committee for the New Courthouse <br />of Locally Imposed OPMA Requirements. Commissioner Wright seconded. <br />Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />RATIFY SENATOR MURRAY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Osiadacz moved to ratify Board signature on a letter of <br />support to Senator Patty Murray regarding the Snoqualmie Pass <br />Utility District drinking water infrastructure improvements. <br />Commissioner Wright seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />RATIFY SENATOR MURRAY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Osiadacz moved to ratify Board signature on a letter of <br />support to Senator Patty Murray regarding HopeSource and their <br />application for funding for the Ellensburg Multi-Service Center. <br />Commissioner Wright seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />FOLLOW UP BOWLING ALLEY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board discussed moving forward and considering applications for <br />appointment to the Bowling Alley Committee at an upcoming Office <br />Admin Meeting. They determined they would like input even w/o RFP’s <br />to consider. Staff was directed to bring forward the applications <br />for consideration. Chairman Wachsmith will follow up with Patti <br />Stacey, Solid Waste Director/Project Manager/Maint. Director. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 9:16 a.m. Chairman Wachsmith announced the Board would recess <br />into Executive Session with Jeanne Killgore for 5 minutes, to <br />evaluate the qualifications of an applicant for public employment or <br />to review the performance of a public employee.
