MAY 24, 2021 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith; Commissioner Cory <br />Wright; and Vice-Chairman Laura Osiadacz. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Administrative Supervisor; Julie Kjorsvik, <br />Clerk of the Board; Taylor Crouch, Admin Assistant; Kady <br />Porterfield, KVEC Director; Jeanne Killgore, HR Rep. <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING OFFICE STAFF MEETING COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 9:00 a.m. Chairman Wachsmith opened the Office Administration <br />meeting. <br /> <br />CALENDAR WEEK AT A GLANCE COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners reviewed their weekly calendar. <br /> <br />PAF/VOUCHERS REVIEW OF PAF’S & VOUCHERS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners approved and signed County <br />Employee Personnel Action forms and vouchers. <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE LOG REVIEW OF CORRESPONDENCE LOG COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners reviewed the weekly Correspondence <br />Log, a listing of all incoming mail and correspondence for the week <br />ending May 21, 2021. <br /> <br />AGREEMENT 2021 FIREWORKS SHOW AGREEMENT COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Kady Porterfield, KVEC Director requested the Board’s approval on <br />the proposed Pyrotechnic Agreement between Kittitas County and <br />Wolverine West, LLC for the July 4, 2021 Patriot Night’s Concert <br />beginning at 9:45 p.m. and ending at 10:00 p.m. She stated that <br />there is a clause that will allow them to carry it over for 13 <br />months if for some reason the pandemic progress declines. <br />Commissioner Osiadacz moved to approve the Pyrotechnic Agreement <br />between Kittitas County and Wolverine West, LLC as presented. <br />Commissioner Wright seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />LETTERS SENATOR MURRAY/SENATOR CANTWELL COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Osiadacz moved to approve and authorize Board signature <br />on letters of support to Senator Patty Murray and Senator Maria
