BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2021 - <br />AUTHORIZE THE SELECTION OF COMBINED CONSTRUCTION, INC. AND <br />BELSAAS & SMITH CONSTRUCTION, INC. FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS BRIDGE <br />MAINTENANCE REPAIRS 2021 — 2023 ROSTER AND AUTHORIZE THE PUBLIC <br />WORKS DIRECTOR TO SIGN PROFESSIONAL SERVICE AGREEMENTS WITH <br />EACH CONTRACTOR <br />WHEREAS: Public Works prepared a request for proposals for Bridge Maintenance Repairs <br />2021 — 2023 consistent with state law and county code in April 2021; and <br />WHEREAS: Submittals were due by April 23, 2021; and <br />WHEREAS: Three (3) qualified proposals were received; and <br />WHEREAS: Consistent with solicitation advertising, an internal review team of Public Works <br />reviewed and scored all submittals; and <br />WHEREAS: The consensus of the reviewers selects Combined Construction, Inc. and Belsaas <br />& Smith Construction, Inc. for professional services contracts; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best <br />interest of the public, does hereby authorize the selection of Combined <br />Construction, Inc. and Belsaas & Smith Construction, Inc. for the Public Works <br />Bridge Maintenance Repairs 2021 — 2023 roster and authorize the Public Works <br />Director to sign professional service agreements with each contractor. <br />DATED on this 18th day of May 2021, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Brett Wachsmith, Chairman <br />Laura Osiadacz, Vice -Chairman <br />Cory Wright, Commissioner <br />
