KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />2O2I AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE:April20,202l <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Conduct a Public Hearing for Partial Vacation of Rights of <br />Way in Division 1 of Timber Valley <br />BACKGROUND:Public Works received an application to vacate portions of <br />rights of way in Division 1 of Timber Valley in February <br />2021. The County Engineer and Surveyor conducted <br />research pursuant to the request and finds no reason <br />denying the request for vacation. Once vacated, the land <br />will become attached to the applicant and add to the taxable <br />land mass of the County. The interior roads (being <br />vacated) were never constructed and the dedication for <br />public use requires a vacation by the County. <br />INTERACTION: <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />HANDLING: <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />LEAD STAFF: <br />Public Works. <br />Conduct a Public Hearing and authorizethe requested <br />vacation of right of way. <br />Retum one original to Public Works. <br />Director's Report; Legal description and Map. <br />Mark R.
