A DVR-capable box is $11.99 per month, and <br /> DVR service ranges from $12.99 - $19.99 per month. <br /> Charter also offers inside wire maintenance for$4.99 per month. <br /> City Fiber <br /> This is a city-owned ISP owned by the City of Ellensburg. The city owns approximately 30 miles of <br /> fiber inside the city. Within the city the network has several redundant paths for reaching various parts <br /> of the city. The ISP has been serving city buildings since 1999. <br /> City Fiber began offering retail broadband to businesses in a pilot project started in 2017. <br /> City Fiber provides an online map14 showing the parts of the city where service can be provided. <br /> The City Fiber network uses Active Ethernet technology and can provide speeds up to a symmetrical <br /> gigabit. <br /> The `founders' rate for broadband, being businesses that joined the network early is $89 per month for <br /> 100/20 Mbps broadband. The current rate for new businesses is $159 per month. <br /> The City Fiber network has two connections to the Internet, one routed to Seattle and one routed to <br /> Portland. <br /> City Fiber provides an Ethernet handoff, but customers must provide their own Router, WiFi, and <br /> firewall equipment to use the service. City Fiber will not assist customers in setting up this customer- <br /> provided equipment. <br /> Fixed Wireless <br /> Symplified Technologies.15 This is an ISP from Cle Elum that uses fixed wireless technology.
