INTERAGENCYAGREEMENTBETWEENTHEWashingtonTrafficSafetyCommissionANDKittitasCountySheriffsOfficeTHISAGREEMENTismadeandenteredintobyandbetweentheWashingtonTrafficSafetyCommission,hereinafterreferredtoas"WTSC,"andKittitasCountySheriffsOffice,hereinafterreferredtoas"SUB-RECIPIENT."NOWTHEREFORE,inconsiderationoftheterms,conditions,covenants,andperformancecontainedherein,orattachedandincorporatedandmadeaparthereof,thePartiesmutuallyagreeasfollows:1.PURPOSEOFTHEAGREEMENTThepurposeofthisAgreementistoprovidefunding,providedbytheUnitedStatesDepartmentofTransportation(USDOT)NationalHighwayTrafficSafetyAdministration(NHTSA)andallowedundertheAssistanceListingsCatalogofFederalDomesticAssistance(CFDA)numbers20.600and20.616,fortrafficsafetygrantproject2021-HVE-4053-Region12TargetZeroTaskForce,specificallytoprovidefundingforthelawenforcementagenciesinWTSCRegion12toconductovertimehigh-visibilityenforcement(HVE)trafficsafetyemphasispatrolsasoutlinedintheStatementofWork(SOW),insupportofTargetZeropriorities.TheTargetZeroManager(TZM)and/ortheLawEnforcementLiaison(LEL)shallcoordinatetheSOWwiththeSUB-RECIPIENTwiththegoalofreducingtrafficcrashes.Grant2021-HVE-4053-Region12TargetZeroTaskForcewasawardedtotheRegion12tosupportcollaborativeeffortstoconductHVEactivities.Bysigningthisagreement,theSUB-RECIPIENTisabletoseekreimbursementforapprovedovertimeexpensesincurredasaparticipantintheregion'sHVEgrant.2.PERIODOFPERFORMANCETheperiodofperformanceofthisAgreementshallcommenceuponthedateofexecutionbybothParties,butnotearlierthanOctober1,2020,andremainineffectuntilSeptember30,2021,unlessterminatedsooner,asprovidedherein.3.STATEMENTOFWORKSCOPEOFWORK:Note:ThisstatementofworkappliesonlytoHighVisibilityEmphasispatrols(HVE)fortrafficsafetyareaswhichyourregionhasreceivedHVEfunding.
