SSID:Kittitas County Public <br />1.County-owned equipment:eeëntyCounty-owned equipment may not be connected <br />to the public wireless network. <br />2.Personal equipment:employees and the public may connect personal (non- <br />eeuntyCounty-owned)equipment to the public wireless network. <br />3.Password Protection:no authentication will be required to connect to the public <br />wireless network;however,users must accept the public wireless network terms and <br />conditions. <br />5.4.2 Access allowed by wired connection <br />IT will ensure wired access is controlled as follows: <br />1.Network jack with network authentication <br />1.Inside employee's department VLAN -network access provided <br />2.Outside employee's department VLAN -partial'network access provided <br />2.Network jack without network authentication -all access denied <br />3.Public access network jack -Internet access only;employees may use VPN to <br />connect to the eeunty-County network for partial1 network access. <br />1 Partial access -some resources provided through the eewaty-County firewall (like access to <br />State resources)may not be available unless you are connected within your department. <br />5.4.3 Remote access <br />IT shall authorize,monitor,and control all methods of remote access to the County's <br />information systems.(CJIS 5.9 §5.5.6) <br />5.4.3.1 County employees <br />CAMAS,NOVAtime-and--eeëntyCounty email,and other County employee technoloqy <br />services may be made available on the Internet through https://camas.co.kittitas.wa.us. <br />Utilization of this system does not supersede management's right to set work hours and <br />location,nor ownership of data or work products.Access to additional network resources <br />may be permitted from a remote location (e.g.home,field or business travel via a computer <br />or laptop)provided the following requirements are met: <br />1.Requests for remote access must be made by the employee's DHIEO. <br />2.Remote access may only be made using: <br />1.VPN -for eeuntyCounty-owned devices only. <br />2_GoToMyPC -only using the eeunty-County's GoToMyPC account. <br />2-3.RemotePC -only usinq the County RemotePC account. <br />3.Remotely connecting to the County network is an employee's acknowledgment and <br />agreement that they are connecting to the eeanty-network at their own risk and the <br />seanty-County is not responsible for any damage that may result to their device. <br />5.4.3.2 Vendors <br />Vendors must complete a Confidential Information Agreement -Vendor Remote or On-Site <br />Support before access to the County network and their software will be provided.After a <br />20
